Pomegranate, Tuxedo Cat Japanese Woodblock Wall Art

The fruit was never the point. The view was.

A black and white tuxedo cat lies along the fork of an old pomegranate tree, tail hanging straight down, looking up at something only she can see. Red fruit hangs from the branches against a slate blue sky, and a small red seal sits in the corner, the way a Japanese printmaker would sign the block.

Pomegranate is the most classical piece in the Japanese set. It works over a sideboard, in a hallway or beside dark wood, and it holds its own on a wall by itself.
