Stowaway, Kitten in a Scarf Wall Art

Nobody invited her into the scarf. She got in anyway.

A kitten’s face emerges from between the folds of a wool scarf wrapped around someone’s neck, one eye fixed on the camera, whiskers catching the light. The rest of her is missing entirely, absorbed somewhere into the wool and the warmth.

Stowaway is the close-up we don’t usually take: not the whole animal, just the part of her that refused to stay hidden. For the cat who has never once respected the boundary of a coat, a bag, or a blanket.
